Early Prototype Walkthrough

See how Dispute Guard is designed to help eBay sellers review payment disputes, deadlines, money at risk and evidence readiness.

Fictional data and an illustrative interface are used in this walkthrough. Dispute Guard is an independent early-stage project and is not affiliated with eBay.

No payment, password or eBay account access is required for the demo.

Four questions, one clear view.

  1. 01

    What’s at risk?

See the disputed amount and whether a response is currently required.

  2. 02

    When must I act?

Review the reported deadline and details that still need verification.

  3. 03

    What should I do now?

See a suggested next step to review or prepare before responding on eBay.

  4. 04

    Is my evidence ready?

Use a checklist to track what you’ve prepared and what is still missing.

Why use Dispute Guard alongside eBay Seller Hub?

eBay Seller Hub is where you respond to the dispute. Dispute Guard is designed to help you see the amount at risk, the relevant response deadline, what to review next, and what you’ve marked as prepared in your evidence checklist — in one focused view.

How Dispute Guard connects to eBay

Built with eBay’s official developer APIs. The current connection is limited to the owner-only eBay Sandbox workspace.

Connection uses eBay OAuth. Dispute Guard never asks for or stores your eBay password.

The prototype retrieves payment-dispute status, amounts, deadlines and evidence requirements reported by eBay.

It does not automatically accept or contest disputes, issue refunds, or submit evidence on your behalf.

Dispute Guard is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by eBay.
